The camp is located in the dry riverbeds of the Hoanib River, overlooking a wide desert valley that slopes down to the sporadically flowing river. From the camp, you can observe a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and brown hyenas, as they visit the nearby waterhole. Take a guided Skeleton Coast tour to discover relics of the Strandloper lifestyle from centuries past, or try your hand at Desert Adapted Elephant Tracking to catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures. Upon leaving Hoanib, you will fly further north to the Kunene River where you will be treated to three nights at the luxurious Serra Cafema. This safari is predicted on an afternoon flight from Johannesburg to Windhoek

This itinerary can be tailor-made to suit you – though note that most flight routes travel in a clockwise direction around Namibia's main highlights. You can opt to add nights at the existing lodges and/or extend the itinerary to include more Namibian highlights such as a day trip to Okonjima on the way back to Windhoek or a relaxing last day in Windhoek.
